What We Do

Small Groups   -   Children   -   Young Adults   -   Missions

Reaching out to the world around us is a part of who we are at Marineview. We seek to offer not just Jesus’ message of love and hope, but practical help, in Vancouver and around the world.

  • Global
We support a number of overseas missionary teams – all of whom are personally connected to Marineview and have been part of our faith community in the past.

In addition to bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to the countries where they serve, the Kvicks are now relocating to the Philippines to assist local leaders with medical and educational development; Hope for the Nations is bringing much-needed relief to Ebola virus-stricken regions of West Africa; and the Bussards relieve poverty and oppression in Eastern Europe through the creation of ethical micro-industries and social enterprise. Marineview missionaries are changing the world, one soul at a time.

  • Local
Our people here at home are missionaries too – serving many in the Lower Mainland personally through local organizations. Among these are:
    • Daybreak Point Bible Camp on Anvil Island www.anvilisland.ca
    • Open Door – serving single mothers on Vancouver’s Eastside  [no website]
    • Union Gospel Mission – serving homeless and hungry on Vancouver’s Eastside www.ugm.ca
