Loss and grief are a part of life and experiencing grief can be lonely, overwhelming, confusing, and painful. To cope we often distract ourselves from our pain when we really need to allow ourselves to feel and process.
This workshop seeks to provide space to process your grief and loss in a safe and supportive space through art therapy facilitated by an art therapist student, Alison Ho. Art can be a helpful platform for expression when words fall short.
Art therapy integrates therapy and art by facilitating the creative process in art-making to improve a person’s well-being, gain new insights about one’s self, and enhance interpersonal skills. This workshop will include art making, personal reflection, and group sharing. No previous art experience necessary. Art materials will be provided.
