Partnering with Jesus

We look ahead to the next season for Marineview with excitement and hope, sensing an invitation to partner with Jesus in a variety of ways.

As we press into these callings, we invite you to consider where God might be leading you to offer your gifts of presence, participation, or prayer. In doing so, we trust that God is good, and will provide everything we need to join Him in the work He’s called us to, in a way that leads to the flourishing of all.


  • Integrating all aspects of our lives so that we are living in the Jesus way in all that we do, through our:

    • Worship gatherings on Sunday mornings

    • Prayer evenings

    • Vocations

    • Relationships with each other and all of creation

 
  • In a world of loneliness and division, extending our gifts of welcome to be a community of belonging where each one is valued and has their place, through:

    • Providing hospitality to newcomers and friends

    • Sponsoring refugees

    • Learning from our Indigenous neighbours

    • Building intentional and meaningful friendships with each other

 
  • Seeking to bless, empower, and strengthen the church (in the city and the world), through:

    • Establishing new preaching and hospitality internships, as well as training and equipping lay preachers

    • Developing and shepherding children’s ministry workers

    • Emphasizing the discipleship of all congregants through Life Groups and beyond


“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power
